Lemon Drop is a loggerhead turtle that was satellite tagged on the nesting beaches adjacent to LMC on April 21, 2024. Lemon Drop was the heaviest loggerhead we encountered in 2024, clocking in at 323 lbs. Tracking data from this turtle will be used in various ongoing research projects being conducted by the Research Department at LMC.
