Dear Tennessee Middle School Administrators and Educators:
Welcome to the 47th annual TAMS Summer Conference! We are excited that you have taken time from your summer to attend our conference. The Tennessee Association of Middle Schools is committed to providing meaningful professional development that will inspire you, motivate you, and provide academic, behavioral, and relational strategies to grow you professionally.
While you are at the conference, I hope you also grab the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful area and all the fabulous sites the Great Smoky Mountains have to offer. There is something for everyone here in the Sevierville area.
In closing, I would like to encourage each of you to take some time this summer to reflect, refresh, and rest. The work you do for kids each day is so important and you make a difference. Lastly, save the date for the 2026 TAMS conference: May 31st-June 2nd right here in Sevierville.

Welcome Conference Participants!
Welcome to TAMS 2025! This is the 47th annual summer conference dedicated to middle level education, and we are so excited that you have chosen to attend. We promise you will have fun and leave with some inspiration and practical tools to prepare you for next school year.
Our theme this year,Sharing the joy of middle school, truly reflects the passion and dedication we all feel as middle level educators. We know that when students enter your school and each individual classroom there is excitement, fun, and joy…along with many other things! We know that does not happen without careful planning, creativity, and skill from a teacher who loves middle school education and students!
We hope the next couple of days allow you to acquire new ideas for your class, and that the days are full of fun and relaxation! Thank you again for choosing TAMS!
