P. Sloan Joseph is an instructional coach, educational consultant, and keynote speaker with over twenty years of experience assisting K-12 public and private school educators. She specializes in the areas of school and classroom culture, student engagement, and technology. Sloan is known for her practical and effective strategies, presented with authenticity and humor. In 2024, she was invited to present over fifty keynotes and workshops in schools and districts across the United States, including being a featured speaker for the annual AMLE conference in Nashville, TN and the AMLE/HIDOE Middle Grades Summit in Honolulu, HI. Her insights have been featured in Power of Connection by Dr. Matthew X. Joseph and chapter 6 of Teachers Deserve It by Rae Hughart and Adam Welcome.

In 2015, Sloan established Greater is in Me, LLC, a training and consulting organization focused on personal and professional development through keynotes, workshops, blogs, and podcasts. She is the host of the Greater is in Me podcast centered around her life as a wife (Mark), mother (Jeffrey), and educator. Doug and his family live in the Knoxville area where he has served on the staff of Sevier Heights Church for nine years. As Executive Pastor he is responsible for caring for a staff of 50+ and 600+ volunteers a week. 

Doug‘s wife Rebecca is the PE teacher at Alcoa Elementary School, and they have two teenage children. Their son Hunter (16) is going to be a Junior at Maryville High School. Their daughter Addison (14) will be a Freshman at Maryville Junior High this Fall.

Doug received his undergraduate from MTSU and masters from Southern Seminary, with an emphasis in leadership.
