Parents, teachers, friends, and family:
You are cordially invited to the first ever concert of our 6th grade band students as well as our Fall Concert for our 8th grade band. The concert will be October 27th at the Powell Middle School Gymnasium. All students should be dropped off at the band room back door by 5:45.
This is a side by side concert. The concert will start at 6:00 in the gym.
Students are encouraged to wear costumes, BUT students must be able to play their instrument correctly with their costume on. ALSO, absolutely NO masks or paint on face of any kind. Students may also wear their band polo and black pants if they do not wish to wear a costume.
Students should leave cases in your cubby while we are performing. This performance is for a grade so you should plan to attend. Students will also be responsible for taking their instruments to and from the gym. Please make every effort to be there. We have been working hard on this music in class and we want to have a great first performance.
I am looking forward to our First Performance of the year!!!!
This is a performance grade!!!!
ALL STUDENTS WILL NEED TO STAY AND HELP RETURN EVERYTHING TO THE BAND ROOM!!!!!
The Chorus Concert will take place at 7:00 in the gym.
