-Financial support is a cornerstone to the function of a band program.
-It provides both challenges as well as considerable opportunities for band members and their families. These funds pay for the purchase of band supplies, uniforms and instruments, maintenance of school-owned instruments and many other expenses, equipment truck rental and gas for off-campus events, and maintenance of the concession stand. The costs of buying new sheet music, drill for marching shows, uniform cleaning, transportation costs, new marching instruments can appear very daunting! Therefore, the Band Parent Association must generate the additional funds that are an absolute necessity in order to have a meaningful and successful program for you have a son or daughter in the FHS Band. You’re automatically a member of the FHS Band Boosters.
-You don’t have to sign up or pay dues.
-We need and welcome your help!
-All parents/guardians of students who are enrolled in a band class are voting members of the Band Parent Association.
-This great organization requires a large team effort.
-Each parent and student has the responsibility to join in; whether you are a new Freshman or a seasoned Senior, full year or half year student or new 8th grader!
-This work not only builds and nurtures the Bands and Flag Corps but also provides terrific opportunities for friendship and camaraderie for parents as well.
-We have fun and there are many opportunities waiting for you to pull together to help our kids achieve their potential.
-Fundraising is necessary for the operation of our band program.
-If you want to roll up your sleeves and get involved, there is something for everyone to do.
Many hands make light work!

Whether you have a lot of time or just a little, we can use your help.
