The award winning Central Colorguard

For decades, the Central Band and Colorguard have won numerous awards in all captions from performances across Tennessee and beyond. Below highlights awards brought home by the Central Colorguard in the recent years.

In the winterguard season of 2022, the Central guard started back up the winterguard program after years of not competing and taking a hit through the COVID years. After a long season of rebuildling and training, the award winning program "Mother Nature" won first place in Novice class prior to ETPAA Championships.

After reestablishing our winterguard program in 2022, the Central winterguard brought home 2nd place in ETPAA Championships and had a successful end to our first season on the floor after a few years away.

During marching band in fall 2023, the Central Guard brought home numerous awards throughout the season. Picture above is 2nd place colorguard in class AA at the first competition of the season at Clinton HS.

Our award winning marching show "Lost in Space" was a wildely sucessful program as the colorguard won 1st place at every single competition that year, and grand champion band of the day at the final contest of the season at Alcoa High School. (fall 2022)
