About the BHS Cheerleading Team
The cheerleading program at Bearden High School has developed a tradition of excellence. A cheerleader’s role is to promote sportsmanship, boost team spirit, direct the student body in its support of the teams, and help the school achieve the objectives of the interscholastic sports program. Additionally, BHS Cheer competes in various UCA competitions in the Game Day Division.
Overall Objectives of BHS Cheerleading
To promote the good sportsmanship that will help students acquire the basic attributes of good citizenship
To develop and promote wholesome school spirit
To develop and promote loyalty to your school and team regardless of the outcome of the game
To promote cooperative spirit among the student body, faculty, staff, and administration of BHS
To be an example of character in what they say, how they act, and in their attitude with others (regardless of situation).
About Go Dogs Booster
Go Dogs Booster is the BHS Cheer's booster club. This is a parent led booster club and supports the team financially through fundraisers. Please contact Coach K for more information.
