Kimberlyn Yoakum

Kimberlyn Lee Yoakum is the daughter of Rick and Melissa Yoakum of Edina. She is active in Cheerleading, Student Council, FFA, FCCLA, FBLA, Med Club, and the School Store. Kimberlyn’s favorite teacher is Mrs. Becca Dobrinske because she has known her the longest and bonded with her over time. Her favorite class has been the School Store, taught by Mrs. Keli Huchteman, because it teaches her life skills like communication.

Her mom and dad are the most influential people in her life because they’ve always helped her and supported everything she has done. Kimberlyn describes herself as "kind, compassionate, responsible." She wants upcoming seniors to know that everything they do will reflect on them later in life, so she encourages them always to try their best. Kimberlyn wants to travel to the Maldives to see and explore their culture.

Her future plans are to attend State Fair Community College in Sedalia and study Diagnostic Ultrasound Sonography.

Eli Vilmain

Eli Vilmain is a member of the 2024 senior class. He is the son of James Vilmain of Marshfield and Candie McKay of Knox City.

Eli’s favorite memory from high school is building a roller coaster in Physical Science. Although he didn’t have a favorite teacher throughout high school, his favorite class was Physical Science with Doctor Mitchell Nuhn because he got to build a bunch of cool and random stuff. 

Eli shared that his mother is the most influential person in his life because she always pushes him to do his best. His future plans are to start his own business. In 10 years, Eli sees himself as a successful businessman.

Bella Strange

Isabella “Bella” Sheradon Strange is a member of the Knox County 2024 senior class. She is the daughter of Kelly and Bobby Strange. Her future plans are to become a taxidermist. 

Bella’s favorite childhood memory is swimming in a lake with her parents and her mother’s side of the family. Her mother is the most influential person in her life because she will always support what Bella believes in and what she finds in life. Her mother also wants to see Bella succeed in life. 

One word that Bella uses to describe herself is “energetic.” Three things on her bucket list are “traveling, doing everything I want to do, and not missing out in life.” 

Tenlee Shaw

Tenlee Ember Shaw is a member of the 2024 graduating class. She is the daughter of Jen Schwieter and Richard Shaw. She is involved in The Nest. Tenlee’s favorite memory from high school is working at the school store.
Tenlee’s favorite teacher is Mrs. Hutcheman, and her favorite class is School Store. Three words Tenlee would use to describe herself would be “kind, caring, and honest." Tenlee’s mother and grandmother are the most influential people in her life because her grandma taught her how to bake, and her mother inspires her to be the best she can be. In five years, Tenlee sees herself working in a bakery. 

Savanna Schrage

Savanna Lindsey Schrage is a senior in the 2024 graduating class. She is the daughter of Jeremy and Heather Schrage. She is involved in basketball, softball, FFA, FBLA, FCCLA, and Student Council. 

      Savanna's favorite teacher is Mrs. Rebecca Dobrinski because “it’s fun to be in her class and on her officer team." “There’s never a dull moment, and she’s a good baker,” is what she had to say about her favorite class with Miss Amy McNabb. Savanna says her favorite memory of high school was “when Shalee played basketball for the first month of the season." Savanna’s most influential person is her brother Jeremiah Schrage. “He has proven that no matter what life throws at you, you can be successful.”

When asked to describe herself in three words, Savanna said, “I am him." Savanna’s future plans are to attend State Fair Community College to become a dental hygienist. 

Agnes Reel

   Agnes Elizabeth Reel is the daughter of Matthew and Alexandra Reel and is a member of the 2024 senior class. Agnes is involved in FBLA, Softball, Track, Choir, Band, NHS, FCA, and the Bus Cafe. Agnes plans to attend Benedictine College to double major in philosophy and psychology. She will be attending on both track and vocal scholarships. Agnes’ favorite memory from high school is watching Tom England salsa dance. The best advice Agnes has been given is that “hard work will pay off.”  Agnes’ favorite teacher is Mrs. Dale. “She helps me learn to be a competitor and to motivate myself even when everything around me is going to crap,” she said.

   Agnes’ favorite class is calculus. She said, “I don't understand it, and it is so rewarding when I do understand it.” "Encouraging, determined, and intelligent" is how Agnes describes herself. The most influential person in Agnes' life is her dad. She said, “ I think he is a really good example of being your own person but still respecting everyone and demonstrating how to be a good person. He is very motivating and has traveled with me all over the country for softball. He’s always been by my side.” 

   One thing Agnes can't live without is Hay Day. The best part about being a senior for Agnes is being a role model for the younger kids. In 10 years, Agnes sees herself as a counselor who travels around the world. Agnes wants to be able to help people and "travel to see cool stuff." Agnes' favorite thing to do in school is to learn. The best advice Agnes can give to someone is to “go all in on everything you do, but learn how to have boundaries and say no to things, and work hard at them so you're good.”

Angelwolf Perez

Angelwolf Perez, the daughter of Reva Novinger and the late Christian Perez, is in the Knox County graduating Class of 2024. She is involved in Band, Choir, Drama, and Student Council. 

Angelwolf’s favorite teacher is Miss Lisa Blake, her band and choir teacher, because she supports her in many ways and always has her back. Her favorite classes are Choir and Algebra 2. In Choir, she is always pushed to do her best. She likes Algebra because Miss Amy McNabb is an awesome teacher.

The most influential person in her life is her older sister, Jessie, because she took on the role of being another parent for her. Angelwolf’s favorite school memory was during a large group contest for choir. "We were waiting to site read and were supposed to be quiet when Mark Henry started making monkey noises, and Miss Blake just started glaring at him," she recalled.

Angelwolf’s future plans are to attend Southeastern Community College (SCC) in Burlington, Iowa.

Emma Parrish

Emma Marie Parrish is a member of the graduating class of 2024. She is the daughter of Heather Parrish and Aaron Parrish.

Throughout her school career, Emma's favorite teacher was Middle School Math Teacher, Mrs. Mandi Delaney. She said, “She taught me a lot about being myself and staying determined.” Emma’s favorite memory from high school is when they let her switch to online classes because it impacted her life in so many ways.

Emma looks up to her mom the most because “she has worked so hard to care for her girls, and I strive to be as successful and hardworking as she is,” Emma said. Three words that Emma uses to describe herself are “motivated, hardworking, and a lil sassy.” 

Emma’s future plans are to stay successful and determined. In ten years, she sees herself traveling the world. 

Cayanna Ogden

Cayanna Ogden is the daughter of Elizabeth Ogden and the late Jason Ogden of Edina. Cayanna’s future plans are to attend Central Christian College of the Bible in Moberly, Mo. to major in Early Childhood Education. Her mom is the most influential person in her life “because she is supportive and is always there for me," she said. 

Ogden’s favorite teacher is Mrs. Laura Greenley because she is always there for her whenever she needs anything. Her favorite class is her SAM class because she loves being able to see the younger students and interact with them.

Ogden is currently involved in Cheerleading, Dance Team, Band, Yearbook, Eagle Nation News, NHS, Quill and Scroll, Spanish Club, and Bus Cafe. She describes herself in three words as “Compassionate, Caring, and Responsible.” Her favorite memory from high school was learning the steps for marching band. 


Gabe Nemeth

Gabriel “Gabe” Joseph Nemeth is a member of the 2024 class. He is the son of Angela Harrington and Eric Nemeth. Gabe has been involved in the band throughout his high school career. 

The most influential person in his life is his father. Gabe said, “He always has advice when I need it, and he’s always helping me no matter the situation.” Gabe said the only thing he wants to cross off his bucket list right now is to graduate. He wants to graduate to “get moving on with his life.” 

Coach Kyle Ellison teaches Gabe’s favorite class, weights. He is his favorite teacher because, as Gabe says, “We talk about sports a lot.” Gabe’s favorite high school memory is going to prom his sophomore year.

Max Montgomery

Max Johnwayne Montgomery is the son of Sarah Huffman and Jim Montgomery. His future plans are to attend the Missouri Welding Institute. He is active in football and FBLA. Max was a semester graduate who received his high school diploma in December 2023.

His favorite teacher in school was Mrs. Wood because she has always supported him and knew he would be successful. Mrs. Wood is also the most influential person in Max's life because she has never given up on him. Max describes himself as "stubborn, motivated, and fun."

Reice Miller

Emery “Reice” Miller is a member of the 2024 senior class. He is the son of Chad and Erin Miller of Knox City.

Reice’s favorite memory from high school is when his Industrial Tech Teacher Mr. Rich Green ran the barbeque grill through the bus hood. Throughout high school, Reice’s favorite teacher was Mr. Green because he taught him a lot of useful information and they had many good times together. Reice’s favorite class was shop class because it taught him a lot of life skills. 

“Handsome, smart, and hardworking” are three words that Reice uses to describe himself. He shares that his dad and grandpa are the most influential people in his life because they show him that he can do anything he wants to and they support his decisions.

Reice’s future plans are to run his own farm. In 10 years, Reice sees himself farming more acres, having more cattle, and having his own family. 

Bryston Miller

Bryston Alzada-Jo Miller, the daughter of Russ and Erin Miller is a member of the Knox County Class of 2024. Bryston was a semester graduate who received her high school diploma in December 2023. Throughout high school, Bryston was active in softball, cheerleading, basketball, track, Spanish club, FFA, FBLA, and FCCLA.

If Bryston could travel anywhere, she would go to Bora Bora. “It is so gorgeous, and I feel like it would be so much fun,” she said. If she had a million dollars, she would buy lots of clothes and shoes. If Bryston had one wish, it would be for her grandma to see where she is now and how much she has grown.

The thing Bryston will miss most about high school is Mrs. Brandi Wriedt’s Accounting class with Brianna Miller and Cassidy Goodwin. She said, “Every day was a blast even though Mrs. Wriedt would get so angry at us because we were always laughing and doing the most out-of-pocket things.” Her advice to underclassmen is to try your best in the four years of high school because they go by so fast. She also says, “No matter what you are going through, there is always a light and a purpose at the end of everything that happens.”

Bryston is attending Paul Mitchell School of Esthetics and taking prerequisite classes for the Moberly Area Community College (MACC) nursing program. She plans to graduate from the Paul Mitchell School of Esthetics and start nursing clinics at MACC in the fall. She hopes to be a nurse esthetician and injector, someone with a medical background who can safely perform aesthetic treatments and injectables. She also hopes to open a medical spa of her own one day.

Baila Miller

      Baila Lynne Miller is a member of the 2024 senior class. She is the daughter of Stephanie Cantrell and Mark Miller. She is involved in NHS, Student Council, FCCLA, and The Nest.

Baila's favorite memory from high school was going to Alabama for the National FCCLA Convention. She loved sightseeing and gaining leadership skills. Baila's favorite teacher is Mrs. Hutchman “because she is a fun and supportive teacher.” Her favorite class is School Store because she gets to be creative. 

Baila's mother and grandmother are the most influential people in her life because they’re hard workers who help her with life’s obstacles. Baila plans to attend Truman State University to major in psychology and eventually work toward her Master's Degree in Elementary Education.

Emma McLeod

      Emma Jean McLeod, the daughter of the late Mike McLeod and Lilly Benton, is a Knox County Senior. She was a member of the semester graduates who received their diplomas in December of 2023. While a student at Knox County, Emma was involved in the choir. 

Her favorite memory from high school comes from a previous school where she hooked up an Xbox to a projector when her class didn't have a sub. Emma's favorite class at Knox County was Game Design, taught by Mrs. Antonia Lucas, who is also her favorite teacher. Her dad is the most influential person in her life. Three words Emma uses to describe herself are "strong, brave, and kind." 

Emma said the hardest task of being a senior is "having the determination to finish high school." In five years, she sees herself possibly moving away with her family. 

Tagen Mallett

      Tagen LeeAnn Mallett is a student of the 2024 graduating class. She is the daughter of Amy Mallett of Edina and Brad and Leann Mallett of Baring. She participates in student council, FFA, and trap shooting. 

     Tagen’s favorite teacher is Mrs. Mandi Delaney. "She has always been there to help me when I needed her most," she said. Tagen's favorite class is her agriculture class because "there is never a dull moment." Tagen's favorite memory from high school was going to the National FFA Convention in Indianapolis. Tagen said, “There is so much to see there, and I feel you learn a lot from it.” She said that Lyndsey Brenizer is the most influential person in her life. "She has always been there to help me whether it was school or just life in general, and I wouldn’t be who I am today without her." 

     Three words Tagen uses to describe herself are “caring, hardworking, and understanding.” Tagen's future plans are to work at H2 Grafx.

Lane James

      Lane Alicia James is the daughter of Casie and A.J. James and is a member of the 2024 senior class. Lane is involved in FFA and NHS. Lane’s future plans are to attend Kansas State University to major in Animal Science. 

     Lane's favorite memories of high school are anything to do with FFA. Lane's favorite class was ag with Mrs. Becca Dobrinske “because it was always easy.” Three words Lane uses to describe herself are “quiet, kind, and smart.” The most influential person in Lane's life is her Grandma Dita because “she always keeps her head up when times are down. She's very inspiring how she never lets life get in the way of what she wants to do,” Lane said.

     The best advice Lane can give is, “ Don't let others' opinions change who you are.” She says the worst part about being a senior is that there are a lot of classes that you have to take and credits you need in order to graduate. In ten years, Lane plans to have graduated from Veterinarian School and either be working at a vet clinic or have her own business. Lane's favorite thing to do at school is talk to her friends.

Natalie Howerton

Natalie Howerton, a senior in the Knox County graduating class of 2024, is the daughter of Crystal Murr and Brian Howerton. Natalie is involved in FCCLA and the Student Council. 

Her favorite teacher is Mrs. Huchteman because she helps her to be creative. Her favorite class is School Store because they "get to do cool things in class." 

Her dad is the most influential person in her life because, she says, "he is an amazing person and a hard worker." Her favorite school memory was when Abby chugged chocolate milk and threw up in the hallway. Natalie's future plans are to attend the University of Missouri-Columbia to major in Psychology. 

Micky Hettinger

Michaela "Micky" Fayth Hettinger is the daughter of Helen and Terry Hettinger and is a member of the 2024 senior class. This year, she participates in choir, flags, and med club. Throughout high school, she was also involved in Spanish club, dance team, and band.

Micky’s favorite teachers in high school are Mr. Kyle Ellison and Miss Lisa Blake. She said Mr. Ellison has pushed her to do more and Miss Blake helped her find her potential. Her favorite memory from high school was prom during her junior year. “I’d been dreaming of it since I was a kid,” she said. 

The person that Micky looks up to the most in her life is her grandfather. She said, “He helped me learn how to help other people.” The three words that she uses to describe herself are “ambitious, fun, and daring.” Some things on Michaela’s bucket list are watching her niece grow up, becoming a psychologist, and being a mother.

Micky’s future plans are to attend Landmark College in Vermont, where she’ll work toward a psychology degree. She hopes to one day have her doctorate in psychology. 

Austin Heath

Austin Skyler Heath, a 2024 Knox County High School senior, is the son of Jerry Mason. Austin is involved in baseball. His future plans involve working with heavy equipment and construction.

   Austin says his favorite teacher is High School Counselor Mrs. Taylar Parrish because, "She is always there for me, and she is always someone I can talk to.” His favorite class was shop class with Mr. Rich Green because he enjoyed being able to make and rebuild things.

   Three words Austin uses to describe himself are "honorable, overachieving, and respectful." The most influential person in his life is his dad. “He inspires me to be the first one in the family to graduate and get a diploma,” he said.

Collin Hayes

Collin Emery Hayes is a member of the senior class at Knox County High School. He is the son of Kelly and Lacy Hayes. He is involved in FFA, Student Council, NHS, Football, Basketball, and Track. Collin plans to attend John Wood Community College to study manufacturing technology. 

One thing he would like to cross off of his bucket list is flying a helicopter because it looks fun. Mrs. Becca Dobrinske is Collin’s favorite teacher because, he said, "she keeps things exciting." Ag is his favorite class. “We do something different in Ag every day.” 

His favorite memory from high school was when someone wrote something on a desk and the desk had to be sanded down because of it. Collin’s dad is the most influential person in his life because, Collin said, he sets a good example.

Shooter Griffith

Shooter James Griffith, the son of Robert and Sara Griffith of Edina, is a 2024 senior of Knox County High School. He participates in football and Eagle Nation News. Shooter’s favorite teacher is Coach Nathan Miller because he is "cool and fun to hang out with." His favorite class is P.E. because Coach Miller teaches the class.

Shooter’s mother is his biggest influence because she always does what is right for her family. He uses "smart, handsome, and amazing" to describe himself. One thing on Shooter's bucket list is skydiving.

His future plans are to attend Moberly Area Community College.

Hannah Green

Hannah Jo Green is a member of the 2024 senior class. She is the daughter of Rich and Chrissy Green of Memphis.

Hannah’s favorite memory from high school is working at the Bus Cafe because she had a fun time. Throughout high school, Hannah’s favorite teacher was her business teacher Mrs. Brandi Wriedt. “She has taught me a lot of useful information about business,” she said. Hannah’s favorite classes were entrepreneurship and marketing with Mrs. Wriedt because she was able to work on a business project and create a business plan.

“Determined, resilient, and self-motivated” are three words Hannah uses to describe herself. She shared that her dad and her grandma Anne are the most influential people in her life because they have always told her to go after whatever she wants in life and to chase after her dreams.

Hannah’s future plans are to attend Truman State University in Kirksville and major in business administration with a concentration in marketing and a minor in entrepreneurship, all while participating in ROTC and the National Guard. One activity on Hannah’s bucket list is to go skydiving.

In 10 years, Hannah sees herself being married, living in a big house, and starting her own business.

Shelby Easley

Shelby Diane Easley is a 2024 graduate of Knox County High School. She is the daughter of Jennifer and Kris Easley. Shelby’s favorite memory from high school is all the cool art projects she has created.

The most influential person in Shelby’s life is her father because he is incredibly strong, both mentally and physically. She says he has done everything he can for her and she is grateful for him. “Passionate, innovative, and resourceful” are three words she uses to describe herself. One thing on her bucket list is taking her mom to do the things she always wanted to do.

Shelby’s future plans are to seek a career in interior design or to be a tattoo artist. In 10 years, she sees herself having a simple job in a simple home while decorating houses and parties on the side. She hopes to create beautiful, big art pieces.

Robert Dooley

Robert Dean Dooley, the son of Kenny and Gloria Dooley, is a 2024 Knox County Senior. He is involved in Football, Basketball, Baseball and FFA. Robert’s favorite high school memory was getting to be a running back during football season. 

Robert says his favorite class is his flex hour, and his favorite teacher is Mr. Rich Green. The most influential person in Robert’s life is his dad. Three words Robert used to describe himself were “funny, hardworking and sorta-smart.” Robert says that the hardest task of being a senior is “being a good example.” In five years, Robert sees himself working and raising his child. 

Mathew Davis

Mathew “Matt” Lee Davis is a member of the 2024 senior class. He was a member of the semester graduates who received their diplomas in December 2023. Matt is the son of Kathy Davis and the late Jon Davis. 

Matt’s favorite memory from high school was when he and Krayden Hamlin played video games on the computers during enrichment hour. His favorite teacher was Paraprofessional Mrs. Amy Watts, saying she was “super chill.” 

The person that Matt looks up to the most is his dad. “He taught me important life skills that I use every single day and taught me how to be a better construction worker,” he said. “If it weren’t for him, I wouldn’t be the person I am today.”

Three words that Matt uses to describe himself are “quiet, funny, and hardworking.” Some things that Matt enjoys doing are bowling, fishing, and spending time with his family.

His future plans are to work in the family construction business where he hopes to eventually take it over with his brother.

Zamarion Dameron

     Zamarion "Zam" Martez Dameron, a senior at Knox County, is the son of Brandy Hunt and Martez Dameron. Zam's favorite memory in high school was attending classes with his friends. His favorite thing to do at school was be the class clown. 

The best advice Zam has received is from his mom to "stay strong no matter what." Zam looks up to his older brother. "Funny, kind, and smart" are three words Zam uses to describe himself. The best advice Zam could give someone is to "stay strong no matter what."

Zam's future plans are undecided. In ten years, Zam sees himself in his own house. 

McKenna Browning

     McKenna Browning, the daughter of April Hillyer and Rex Browning, is in the  Knox County graduating Class of 2024. She is involved in Journalism and SWAT. 

     McKenna has three favorite teachers. Her favorite teachers are Mrs. Laura Greenley, Mrs. Dawn Llewellyn, and Mrs. Becky Barnhill. McKenna's favorite class is Journalism because it is entertaining, and two of her favorite teachers teach the class. 

     The most influential person in her life is her Grandpa Browning because he works hard and sets a good example for her. McKenna's favorite school memory is J Day, because she gets out of school. 

     McKenna's future plans are to do something with dogs or tattoos.

Elijah Brown

Elijah Brown, the son of Elizabeth Brown and Justyn Robertson, is a member of the Knox County Class of 2024. Elijah was a semester graduate who received his high school diploma in December of 2023.

Ms. Kim Miller, Mr. Tom England, and Dr. Mitchell Nuhn were Elijah’s favorite teachers. He said, “They helped me become a better student.” His favorite memories from school are playing football in middle school and working with Deacon Jones & Gary Mayer in high school.

The most influential person in Elijah’s life is his grandfather. Elijah describes himself as “courteous, confident, and respectable.” Some things he has on his bucket list are skydiving and visiting Australia. 

In ten years, Elijah sees himself traveling and exploring the world. His future plans are to enlist in the U.S. Military and then travel.

Nicholas Benja

Nicholas "Nick" Deane Benja, the son of Nathan and Bettina Wainwright, is a senior at Knox County High School. During high school, he was involved in Esports. ESports, as well as competing against all the other schools, was Nick's favorite part of high school. 

He says his biggest role model is Ryan Renolds "because it’s Ryan Renolds,” he said. Nick says his favorite teacher was Mr. Nathan Miller because he "was always so chill.” His favorite class was weights with Mr. Tom England because they got to make their own schedule. 

    Nick's future plans consist of joining the military. He describes himself as a funny, challenging, and daring person. 

ABIGAIL BECKER

Abigail Rose Becker is a 2024 graduate of Knox County High School. She is the daughter of Robert Becker of Knox City and Anna Kessler of Labelle. She is involved in Basketball, Softball, Track, Choir, Band, FBLA, FCCLA, and is the Senior Class President. 

The most influential person in her life is her dad. She said, “Even after everything he’s gone through, he’s still able to hold his head up high and provide for us.” Abigail’s favorite teacher is Miss Lisa Blake because she has always been there for her, and she treats band and choir students like family. Another teacher she likes is Coach Nathan Miller because he’s funny. Abigail said her favorite class is P.E. Her favorite memory from high school is getting to see and talk to everyone.

Abigail recently signed a national letter of intent to throw discus for the track team at Columbia College in Columbia, Mo. where she will also pursue a nursing degree. 

KAYDENCE BAKER

Kaydence LeAnn Baker, a senior at Knox County, is the daughter of Janie Edwards and David Baker. She is active in the School Store and Journalism classes. Kaydence’s favorite teachers are Mrs. Laura Greenley and Mrs. Dawn Llewellyn, her language arts teachers. Her favorite class has been ceramics with Mrs. Antonia Lucas because her classmates make the class fun.

The most influential person in Kaydence’s life is her mom because of everything she has overcome. “Quiet, funny, and caring” are three words she would use to describe herself. One thing on her bucket list is scuba diving.

Her advice to upcoming seniors is to stay on top of things and not procrastinate. Her future plans are undecided at this time.

JAKE ALDRIDGE

Jake Kevin Aldridge is a member of the 2024 senior class. He is the son of Debra Dooley of Edina and the late Kevin Aldridge. 

Jake’s favorite memory from high school is participating in ESports. Throughout high school, Jake’s favorite teacher was his science teacher, Dr. Mitchell Nuhn, because he taught him a lot of information and is a cool guy to talk to. Jake’s favorite classes were art with Mrs. Toni Lucas and science with Dr. Nuhn because there were a lot of activities to do in those classes.

“Intelligent and kind” are two words Jake uses to describe himself. He shared that his mother, Teacher Ms. Kim Miller, and Doctor Nuhn are the most influential people in his life because they have supported him and taught him a lot of useful information. Jake’s plans are to attend college, but he has not decided where or what major he will pursue. In 10 years, Jake sees himself not being homeless.
