The Student World has a very different look and feel from the Teacher Platform.
Students see the Missions you've assigned. They earn currency and help grow their classroom garden. They accessorize their avatar. And, they play games in the vibrant world of Light of the Zo-Gears.
It's all about engaging students to continue practising their math -- well after school is over. And kids love it! Watch this video to see what all the excitement is about.
WATCH:
In this video, you learn about the student login process and where students go to find the missions you assign.
You'll see what happens when students make a mistake when solving problems and discover the layers of supports Knowledgehook offers.
And you'll experience why Light of the Zo-Gears ensures that students keep coming back to do math at home.
FOLLOW UP TASK:
Explore the Student World
In your Knowledgehook Class, add yourself as a student so you can explore the student platform. This lets you better understand what your students are excited and talking about when they arrive in your class after an evening with Zo-Gears!
When you login as a student, be sure to use a different browser than the one you use to login as a teacher. Alternatively, you can use a different device (e.g., a phone) or open up an incognito/private tab so that your computer keeps your teacher and student logins separate.
Once you log in:
explore each tab along the bottom of the platform
complete some Solve questions and earn some currency
update your avatar and explore the games
And then, be sure to tell your class about this amazing world. It's a great way to extend the learning beyond the school day. And it's a lot of fun -- as we think you'll see.
