Have you ever found that it's easier to assign and collect student work than it is to analyze that work and actually do something with the results?
Knowledgehook Reports can help. By providing you with instant results, resources to help close gaps, and tools to ensure you can measure growth, Knowledgehook supports you all the way through the short learning cycle.

Sometimes it can be difficult to know exactly what next steps you should take to close learning gaps.
Whether the challenge is in understanding the math concept deeply, or identifying common misconceptions, or finding the right task to get that lightbulb moment, Knowledgehook can help. Watch this video to learn how.
FOLLOW UP TASK:
Plan for how to Close Learning Gaps
As you think about the Report for the Mission you assigned (see above), make note of the learning gaps identified in the Report.
Click on the lightbulb for your activity and read the associated Math Background resource. Highlight relevant key concepts that your students need to know and understand.
Check out the Common Misconceptions resource and identify any misconceptions that your students might have displayed.
Then plan for intervention. Read through the questions and tasks in the Intervention resource and highlight any that could help solidify key concepts or address a specific misconception.
If the majority of the class is a bit "wobbly", you might choose to use the task as the basis for tomorrow's lesson.
If a small group of students need additional support, plan to bring them together tomorrow and use this task with them.
To help with classroom management, you might choose to have the rest of the class work on Solve questions in the Student World (see the Student World video) or decide on another task that students can do without your attention.
Finally, carry out the plan and work to close learning gaps.
WATCH:
The final stage in a short learning cycle is to understand if your intervention efforts have closed the learning gap.
Watch this video to learn how Knowledgehook can quickly and easily help you measure your students' growth.
FOLLOW UP TASK:
Generate a
Growth Report
After you've carried out your intervention plan (see above), click Measure Growth in the Report tab to generate a comparable second Mission.
Once students have completed the second Mission, view the Growth report. Look at Report 1 and Report 2, and notice how Growth compares them.
Then decide on your next steps.
Celebrate the impact of your efforts. Your intervention efforts have made a difference.
For those students who need additional support, decide if you will meet with them again tomorrow or look for ways to readdress these concepts in future days and lessons.
Congratulate yourself on completing a short learning cycle. Your students -- and their parents -- will thank you!
