SIGN UP FOR AN ACADEMIC DETENTION HERE
Academic detentions are not intended to be a punishment, but rather an opportunity for students to increase their academic performance. The academic detention period is designed to encourage students to complete academic assignments and/or tutoring under the supervision of a teacher in a structured academic environment.
An academic detention may be issued if a student
requires one-on-one tutoring with the teacher.
accumulates multiple missing/incomplete assignments.
falls behind due to absence.
experiences a severe grade decline.
comes to class without their laptop, charger, and/or headphones and is unable to participate during class.
Any failure to attend a mandatory academic detention will result in an office referral.
