Welcome! Let's get some research done! Here are some helpful places, databases and websites you might use!

1) Go to http://www.mymcpl.org/
2) Hover over “Catalog,” and click on “Apply for a Library Card Online.”
3) Select “Register Online.”
4) Fill out the information.
5) You will have to confirm your email account to complete the registration process.
6) You will receive a library card in the mail in 2 weeks.
7) Don’t lose your number because I cannot access it for you. If you do lose it, simply go back through the registration process, and the same number will be assigned to you again.
You may also use the school library card. See the above Google Doc for password information.
Where are the databases?
1)Hover over “Online Information” and click on “Research Databases.”
2)Select “Student Resources for Teens” for a list of databases recommended for school research. If your teacher has requested a database not on that list, select "Alphabetical Listing of Titles" and find the title of the database in the alphabetized list.
