Kettle Moraine School District Embraces Artificial Intelligence (AI)
Student AI Literacy & Guidelines
AI systems should not be used to access or share personal or confidential information. Never upload KM data or identifying information of any kind.
Students that identify issues with an AI system should report that concern to a teacher or administrator. Concerns would include unethical or inappropriate use of AI by others.
AI tools should not be used to engage in plagiarism or cheating. Students will be honest about when they use AI in assignments and will cite their sources. Students will not turn in work that is created by AI as their own work.
Students will follow the school’s rules and teacher’s instructions on when and how to use AI on an assignment. Students will not use AI in a way that could harm themselves or others.
AI makes mistakes and can misrepresent information. Students using AI should verify information for accuracy and appropriateness.
