LEVEL 1: Shape
Draw outline to guide where to cut.
Give yourself some wiggle room.
Trim it gradually. You can always cut more off, but you can't put it back on.
LEVEL 2: Stand Up
Make an insert, tab or notch for design to stand up.

LEVEL 3: Movable
Make something that moves.
Use an insert that slides. (See yellow picture below.)
Safely poke a hole and add a specialized screws or clip.
