Message from Principal

It gives me an immense pleasure in presenting before you a brief account of our activities for the academic year 2024-25. The college miscellany brings out the potential writing talents as a part of overall personality development of our students.

Karnatak Law Society's Gogte College of Commerce is established in the year 1954. Over the last six decades, KLS GCC has set its own brand image and has become the most sought after Commerce College in North Karnataka. We offer UG and PG courses in commerce. The college has recognised research centre in commerce.

I feel proud to convey that NAAC peer team has adjudged us as "A" grade college in 4th cycle. This is possible due to rich contributions and active involvement of all stake holders -Management, Parents, Industrialist, Chartered Accountants, Students, Staff and Public. As a result of this, many other colleges seek our guidance for their accreditation process.

It gives me profound privilege and pleasure to inform that this institution is empowering the students with sound knowledge, wisdom, experience and life values. College has achievements in sports, cultural activities, NCC, NSS, Youth Red Cross, yoga, placements. Research activities are conducted in the college.

I extend my wishes to all the readers of this message.

Editor's Message

It gives me immense joy and pride to bring the College Miscellany for the academic year 2024 - 25. College miscellany is an attempt to bring out the hidden talent with in students.

It is because of our supportive management, Principal, staff and talented students of GCC that the college is re-accredited with "A”grade by the NAAC Committee.

I feel very proud to state that, our students secure ranks to the Rani Chennamma University, Belagavi . Adding more glory o the college, in the field of sports our students have been champions in major sports at RCU level . This year we have 3 ranks & 24 University Blues.

This year our students participated in various management and youth festivals which have provided them an opportunity to hone their leadership skills and also showcase their talents.

Our students have contributed their articles, sketches to this issue which speak of their experience and skills. The involvement of students in all the activities of the college and the University is the same way to achieve all round personality development of our students.

I want to extend my sincere thanks to Management of KLS and Governing Council on GCC for their support in preparing this miscellany. I thank our Principal Dr. Venugopal Jalihal for his guidance, I also thank Co-ordinator Prof. Nayana Raichur for her support, I thank the editorial board for their co-operation, I also thank associate editor, Ms. Apeksha Bailoppagol for her suggestions. I thank Shri. Girish Kulkarni, Office Superintendent, teaching and non- teaching staff for their support.
