To study how semiconductor diodes behave electrically and assess their performance in both forward and reverse bias modes across different temperatures, while identifying important diode properties.
Simulate the V-I characteristics of a semiconductor diode under forward and reverse bias conditions.
Extract critical parameters such as reverse saturation current (I₀), forward voltage.
Study the effect of temperature variations on diode performance.
Compare simulated data with theoretical models and manufacturer datasheet values.
To study working and types of clippers and clampers.
