VTU Belgaum Zone, Inter Collegiate (Men) Basketball Tournament 2016.

Eleven students from our college had participated in the VTU Belgaum Zone, Inter Collegiate (Men) Basketball Tournament 2016 held at B. V. Bhoomaraddi College of Engineering & Technology, Vidyanagar, Hubli. On 6^th & 7^th September 2016 with their stunning and skills performed by this students our college is standing in the fourth place in the tournament. Under the able guidance of Principal Sir and Physical Education Director. In this tournament, 13 colleges had participated viz. G.I.T Belgaum, V.S.M.I.T. Nippani, B.V.B.C.E.T. Hubli, H.I.T. Nidasoshi, V.D.R.I.T. Haliyal, S.D.M.C.E.T. Dharwad, K.L.E.C.E.T. Belgaum, S.G.B.I.T. Belgaum, K.L.E.C.E.T. Chikkodi, A.I.T.M. Belgaum, Jain C.E. Belgaum, S.K.S.V.M.A.C.E.T. Laxmeshwar, & K.L.E.I.T. Hubli.

17^th National Level Cricket Championship (Men)

Mr. Abhishek Kulkarni of 4^th Semester CSE Branch, Mr. Pramod Pujar of 2^nd Semester Mechanical Branch & Mr. Nitin F. Rangannavar of 6^th Semester EEE Branch & Mr. Represented Karnataka State in the 17^th National Level Cricket Championship 2017. Held at Nanded, Maharashtra on 27^th to 30^th May 2017.

VTU Belgaum Zone, Inter Collegiate Kho-Kho (Men) Tournament 2017.

Twelve students from our college had participated in the VTU Belgaum Zone, Inter Collegiate Kho-Kho (Men) Tournament 2017 held at B.V.B. College of Engineering & Technology, Hubli from 8^th & 9^th April 2017 with their stunning and skills performed by these students our college Secured 4^th Place in this tournament.

2^nd Inter Collegiate All India Karate Championship 2017.

Sahana of 2^nd Semester ECE Branch Secured Silver Medal for is outstanding performance in All India Karate Championship held at Jain University, Bangalore on 20^th & 21^st February 2017.

Akhila Karnataka Sports Karate Association of Karnataka 9^th State Level Karate Championship

Sahana of 2^nd Semester ECE Branch Secured Silver Medal for is outstanding performance in Akhila Karnataka Sports Karate Association of Karnataka 9^th Stale Level Karate Championship held at Jain University, Bangalore on 2^nd April 2017.

VTU Inter Collegiate Rest of Bangalore Zone Volleyball (Women) Tournament 2017.

Nine students from our college had participated in the VTU Inter Collegiate Rest of Bangalore Zone Volleyball (Women) Tournament 2017 held at B.L.D.E College of Engineering & Technology, Bijapur from 25^th & 26^th March 2017 with their stunning and skills performed by these students our college is Secured 3^rd place in the tournament & qualified for Inter Zone tournament.

4^th Inter KLE T-20 Cricket Champions Trophy 2017.

Fifteen students from our college had participated in the 4^th Inter KLE T-20 Cricket Champions Trophy 2017. Held at B. V. Bhoomaraddi College of Engineering & Technology, Vidyanagar, Hubli from 13^th to 20^th February 2017. In this tournament 24 colleges had participated from all over Karnataka and our college reached Quarter finals.

19^th VTU Inter Collegiate Athletic Meet 2016

Five students from our college had participated in the 19^th VTU Inter Collegiate Athletic Meet 2016. Held at Dr. T. Thimmaiah Institute of Technology, Oorgaum Post, Kolar Gold Fields from 15^th & 18^th November 2016 with their stunning and skills performed by these students our college 4 X 400 Relay team reached Semi Finals participants are Aditya B. Hulloli of 1^st Sem Civil, Gulappa I. Radder of 1^st sem Mechanical, Saqib N. Talewad of 3^rd Sem Mechanical, Manjunath M. Gudasalamani of 5^th Sem Mechanical, Aditys B. Hulloli of 1^st Sem Civil finished 5,000 meter run with 8^th place & 21 km Half Marathon with 6^th place, Gulappa I. Radder of 1^st Sem Mechanical qualified for Quarter Finals in 200 meter run, Saqib N. Talewad of 3^rd Sem Mechanical finished 400 meter run 5^th place & Long Jump with 8^th place, Manjunath M. Gudasalamani of 5^th Sem Mechanical qualified for Quarter Finals in 1,500 meter run, Suresh P. Sottannavar of 5^th Sem MCA completed with 8^th place in Hammer Throw. Saralaya of 1^st Semester ECE, Apoorva C of 1^st Semester ECE, & Salvin Francis Dias of 5^th Semester Mechanical Secured 1^st Place in Inter KLE Inter Collegiate Table Tennis Tournament 2016. “Shatam” a KLE Centenary Event Organized by KLE Society from 14^th to 19^th November 2016. Two students from our college had participated in the VTU Single Zone Taekwondo (Men & Women) Competition 2016 - 2017 held at Vishwanathrao Desphande Rural Institute of Technology, Haliyal. On 20^th to 22^nd October 2016. Varsha C. Chandrashekar of 3^rd Sem CSE Secured 1^st Place & Rahul S. Toragal of 5^th Sem Mechanical Secured 2^nd Place. Five students from our college had participated in the VTU Belgaum Zone, Inter Collegiate (Men) Table Tennis Tournament 2016 held at Gogte Institute of Technology, Belagavi. from 28^th & 29^th September 2016 with their stunning and skills performed by this students our college is standing in the first place in Belgaum Zone Inter Collegiate tournament 2016 – 2017.

University Blue South Zone Inter University Chess (Women) 2016.

Vani S. Indrali of 1^st Semester CSE Branch represented Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi University Blue in Chess (Women) in South Zone Inter University 2016 held at Vel Tech University Avadi Chennai. From 8^th to 11^th October 2016. In this Championship VTU bagged 3^rd place & qualified to All India Inter University held at Vel Tech University, Avadi, Chennai from 10^th to 14^th November 2016. Bagged 4^th place.

VTU Inter Zone Chess (Men & Women) Tournament 2016.

Five students from our college had participated in the VTU Inter Zone Chess (Men & Women) Tournament 2016 held at S.J.M. Institute of Technology, P.B. No 73, Chitradurga, 577502 from 23^rd to 25^th September 2016 with their stunning and skills performed by this students our college is standing in the (Women) 1^st place in the tournament. Women team became the VTU Chess team Champions. In this tournament from our college Vani S. Indrali 1^st Sem BE (CSE) got selected for Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi.
