Teaching: Mrs. Luedecke has taught choir and vocal music, plus private voice and piano since 2003. She has taught music at Zwink Elementary School since the fall of 2023. When she graduated from Howard Payne University in 2002, she moved to Spring and accepted her first teaching position as Assistant Choir Director at Klein High School. She then moved over to Doerre Intermediate School to be the Head Director in 2010. In 2017, she entered into the private school classroom and taught choir grades 6-12 at Northland Christian School for three years, and then moved to Klein Forest to be Head Choir Director in the fall of 2020.

Personal: I love to bake, listen to audiobooks, spend time outdoors, and travel. I have traveled to or through 49 of the 50 United States (hoping to make it to Alaska soon!), as well as Britain, Ireland, Mexico, Canada, Spain, China and Venezuela. My husband and I have been married for 19 years and are very active in our church family, Northside Christian Church. We have two children, Andrew and Sophia, as well as two frisky cats, Bitty and Charlie and a sweet dog, Mimi. I have two sisters who are my very best friends and my mom and dad have been married for 48 years!

I'm thrilled to be your elementary music teacher in my first year of teaching! I graduated from Sam Houston State University in 2022 with a Bachelors in music education where I participated in the marching band and various ensembles.

I've been playing trumpet for 13 years with a background in jazz pedagogy, and I'm passionate about sharing my joy of music. Music is an integral part of my life and has been for as long as I can remember. My goal is to instill this same love of music in my students.

In addition to the trumpet, I also play trombone, piano, and guitar when time allows. I love writing music, playing video games, and tending to my ever-growing collection of plants. Long walks and hiking are my go-to activities for relaxation and rejuvenation. I also have an adorable puppy named Sophie.
