Tutoring and Summer Bridge Program

Vistas Early College High School provides students a tutoring period each day of the school year to get additional help from their classroom teachers.

During the Summer between an incoming Vistas ECHS student’s 8th and 9th grade year - incoming students are required to attend an 8-day Summer Bridge Program.  The dates for the Summer of 2024 will be TBD.  The purpose of the Summer Bridge Program is to provide an opportunity for incoming students to get to know each other as well as the Vistas ECHS staff and to begin preparing for the program to be ready to start in the Fall.  Activities include team building, student expectations, transcript review, overview of graduation requirements, Lone Star - University Park registration, tour of Lone Star College - University Park, TSI prep and TSI testing.
