What is the Athletic Training Program?

The Student Athletic Training Program allows students to have hands on experience in the allied health profession of athletic training. Athletic Trainers are responsible for the prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation of injuries. They are found in all setting around the world from athletics to industrial factories. Students involved in the program are able to learn about injury prevention, evaluation, taping, emergency medicine, first aid, CPR and more!

STUDENT EXPECTATIONS

  1. Be respectful to yourself and your peers

  2. Maintain academic responsibilities

  3. Attend all assigned practices

  4. Clean and maintain athletic training room

  5. Aid in rehabilitation and documentation

  6. Confidentiality

  7. Work hard, learn something new, and have fun
