Q. Can Klein Water Warriors Day of Design be used to satisfy GT project requirements?

A. Absolutely! Be sure to check out our Research Pathways website for resources and guidelines.

Q. Can a parent be a team sponsor?

A. No. The team sponsor must be a Klein employee. However, parents are encouraged to be team supporters and participate as much as each team needs.

Q. Can a teacher sponsor multiple teams?

A. Yes, a teacher can sponsor multiple teams. For example, if a teacher wants four teams in her class, then he/she can be the sponsor for all those teams.

Q. Can a team be across grade levels?

A. Yes. A team can be made up of whatever combination of students you wish!

Q. Where is the Day of Design Challenge held? Are we working on campus on December 8 or will all groups get together at KMPC? If it is at KMPC, will transportation be provided for student groups?

A. Until we have the final number of teams, we don't know where the Day of Design will be held. After Nov. 10, we will have a better idea. Transportation will be provided if needed.

Q. Can we work on this during the school day?

A. Absolutely!

Q. Can we change team members after registration ends?

A. Yes, as long as you still have 3-5 members per team. We understand circumstances happen that may required a substitute for a team member.
