Greetings Mustangs! My name is Mrs. Patterson, and I am super-excited to be here!
I work directly with the Symphonic Band, and assist Mrs. Main with Concert Band. I will also be teaching the Beginner Flutes, Oboes, Bassoons, Saxophones, Clarinets and French Horns!
My main instrument is the oboe. Sometimes I say it was my "first love". Either way, as soon as I picked it up when I was in 6th grade, I was hooked. I have loved being in band ever since.
I went to UT in Austin, and I bleed burnt orange. Since the Longhorns are the best team in the nation, I'm sure you all will see me in burnt orange a lot.
I am looking forward to a fantastic year at Hildebrandt Intermediate, and I can't wait to get started!

Ms. Main
Ms. Main is so excited to be here at Hildebrandt Intermediate Band! She teaches Concert Band, as well as helping out with Symphonic Band. She also teaches beginning trumpet, trombone, tuba, euphonium and percussion.
Ms. Main graduated with a Bachelors in Music Performance from Ithaca College and her Master's in Music Education through the American Band College with Central Washington University. Ms. Main LOVES learning music!!
Ms. Main’s affiliations include Texas Music Educator’s Association, Texas Bandmasters Association, Sigma Alpha Iota, Percussive Arts Society, Women's Band Directors International and is a proud education artist for the Vic Firth Company.
This is going to be a great year for the Hildebrandt Intermediate Band!
