Enrollment Is Online!

STEP 1: You must complete the New Student Online Application (NSOE) and upload all required documents or the Cain Registrars' office will NOT be able to process the application:
IMPORTANT:
*The NSOE is an application ONLY and does NOT enroll your student at Cain.  
*Applications submitted without  required documents will receive an email requesting the missing documents, but enrollment cannot proceed until you provide all required documents.
*** Failure to upload the required documents to the application will delay your student's enrollment***

STEP 2: Applications are reviewed in the order received. Once received, the registrars' office will respond in writing within one business day letting you know if the application is complete, or if you need to submit missing documents. If all required documents are provided, and the student is eligible for enrollment, the registrar will process the application then send you an official Enrollment Confirmation Email which will include your student's ID number and other information.. After receiving this email, your student's Cain counselor will contact you to discuss scheduling and a start date.

2. Immunization records 

3. Photo Identification for parent

4. Grade report and/or withdrawal paperwork from previous school*

*Incoming 9th graders will need to provide proof of promotion from 8th to 9th grade, so be sure to print a copy of that last report card!
    *Try to bring your last grade report and/or transcript from your previous school. Parents tell us to request these documents from the school but it frequently takes several weeks or months to receive them. We appreciate you bringing as much information as you can.

Enrollment (New to KISD)

 Please upload the following required information with your application:

 *Proof of Residency - a current (within 30 days) light, gas, or water bill in the parent/guardian’s name showing a service address. Lease agreements/closing documents must not be more than 30 days old, and you will need to provide a utility bill within 30 days. Phone, cable, or other bills will not be accepted
*Current Immunization record
*Birth Certificate
*Social Security Card
*Parent/Guardian ID cards
*Last report card showing current/promoted grade level and any other records you have from previous school (incoming 9th graders must show proof of promotion)

Once we have received your application, you will be contacted via email by the Registrars’ office with information about the next steps of the enrollment process
*Failure to upload any required documents will delay your application processing*

Transfer to / from another KISD campus

§   Please email the Registrars’ office at cainregistrar@kleinisd.net. We will send you a form to complete and return along with proof of residency attached

§   Please see acceptable documents above for a new proof of residency

§   Your student will be withdrawn once documents are received and your new campus will be notified to enroll

A counselor will assign a schedule once the transfer is complete 

Annual Student Information Update (ASIU)

From July 2022 until school starts, all returning students must verify their enrollment and update their information. Every year, families are required to update student information (Age, Grade, and Registration or AGR) for emergency purposes. This replaces the yellow AGR cards sent home the first day of school.

Please note; This can't be completed from a student account. Only the parent listed first in Family #1 in Skyward can complete this information from your Skyward Parent account.  For account access, email familyaccess@kleinisd.net
