Personal Pathways

Personal Pathways allows students to develop skills and knowledge in areas that are relevant to their personal interests and future goals. This subject is ideal for students who want to explore topics that are not covered in traditional subjects. The possibilities are endless, and what's more, many of them are free! (Where there are enrolment or certification costs, you will need to cover these yourself). The lessons will be a mix of teacher-directed and self-directed lessons.

In Personal Pathways, students will learn about finance, investing, budgeting, careers and work on projects that are tailored to their personal interests and goals.

You will cover the 21st Century Skills set. These skills have been identified by business leaders, workplaces and educators as essential skills for success in the world today. Critical thinking, Creativity, Collaboration, Communication, Information literacy, Media literacy, Technology literacy, Flexibility, Leadership, Initiative, Productivity, and Social skills. 

Studying Personal Pathways can lead to a wide range of career paths, as it allows students to develop skills and knowledge in areas that are relevant to their personal interests and goals. It also provides an excellent foundation for further study in related fields.
