The course provides an opportunity for students to develop their creative and expressive skills, including acting, directing, and designing. Students will have the opportunity to explore a range of dramatic forms and styles, including theatre, film, and radio, and develop their understanding of the history and theory of drama.
Students will study a variety of dramatic forms, from classical Greek theatre to contemporary film and television, and will explore how drama reflects and responds to social and cultural contexts. Students will also learn how to analyze and interpret dramatic texts, including plays, scripts, and screenplays. They will develop skills in close reading and textual analysis, as well as an understanding of the dramatic elements, such as plot, character, and setting. Additionally, students will explore the ways in which theatrical texts can be adapted and interpreted for different contexts and audiences.

Through participating in group projects, rehearsals, and performances, students will learn how to collaborate effectively, think critically, and adapt to different situations.

Moreover, the practical skills developed through the course, such as acting, directing, and designing, can be directly applicable to careers in the performing arts, film, television, and related fields. Students may also choose to pursue further education in drama, theatre studies, or related subjects, either at the undergraduate or postgraduate level.
