Mr Ethan Ganes brings a diverse range of skills and experiences to counselling. With a background in Human Resources (HR), he has a particular focus on career counselling and has conducted numerous CV clinics, employability workshops, and communication skills training.
With the Masters in Professional Counselling, He works with individuals facing a wide range of personal challenges such as trauma, anxiety and depression all the way to procrastination. He actively volunteers in marginalised communities and crisis helplines, connecting with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
As a therapist, Ethan utilises Acceptance and Commitment Therapy to help individuals engage with their emotions healthily, and identify how they can take action towards their wellbeing.
Beyond counselling, Ethan's passion for facilitating impactful conversations has led him to host and moderate international panels featuring esteemed individuals, including ministry representatives and Nobel laureates. In between sessions and projects, he can be found consuming copious amounts of coffee.

Mr. Kenny Lim is a trained volunteer with The Befrienders Kuala Lumpur and is currently serving as the Executive Director. He has experience of providing emotional support via telephone, e-mail and face to face to those who are in distress and suicidal. He also facilitates support for suicide loss survivors. Kenny is a member of the training team; helping train as well as supervise new volunteers. He frequently gives talks and runs workshops to various groups on topics such as active listening and suicide prevention.

Ms. Kamila is a Mental Health Therapist at HumanKind. She graduated from Monash University with a Masters in Professional Counselling. Throughout her journey as a Mental Health Therapist, she has the experience of providing psychotherapy, coaching, and mentoring, to adolescents, young adults, and working adults. Psychological issues addressed included childhood trauma, career, substance addiction, mood disorders, anxiety, depression, relationship, identity, and grief. The therapy approaches that she focuses on are Reality Therapy and CBT-based psychotherapy .
In her previous work experience as an Associate Consultant, she has facilitated training programmes and coached 100+ business leaders to inspire an agile mindset and behaviour shift. She also Co-produced blog posts, LinkedIn articles, and e-books on personal growth and adapting to change.

MS. ANISAH JOHAN

Ms Anisah Johan is an aspiring clinical psychologist who is passionate about empowering the community's mental health and well-being. She was formally supervised in hospital settings for 1 year in conducting psychological assessments and providing psychotherapy. She believes that in order for an individual to reach their highest potential in life, one must live according to their value while embracing the presence of their own thoughts and feelings. Her believes are in line with her therapy approaches which is Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). She is trained in Applied Behavior Analysis Training, Crisis Intervention, Empowering Children Through Play (Introduction To Play Therapy), CBT Group Therapy (Trauma Related Disorder).
Ms. Anisah graduated from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia with a Bachelor of Social Sciences with Honours (Psychology) in 2019. She then obtained her MSc in Clinical Psychology also from the same university in 2022. She is currently working as a Clinical Psychologist in HumanKind, conducting psychotherapy for children, teenagers, and adults. She is also actively involved in conducting training, workshops, and well-being projects with underprivileged children and refugees in helping them to empower and maintain their well-being. She is also taking on the role of a frontline that manages Buddy Bear Helpline, a toll-free call service that provides emotional support and a safe space for children and teens to share their life struggles and concerns.
