Nimit Nimana is an associate professor in Mathematics at the department of Mathematics, faculty of Science, Khon Kaen University. His research focuses on iterative methods for solving convex and nonconvex optimizations and applications in machine learning and image processing.

He received his PhD in Mathematics from Naresuan University in 2017. At Naresuan University, he was advised by Professor Narin Petrot under the PhD student fellowship program of the Thailand Research Fund through the Royal Golden Jubilee PhD Program. He became a lecturer at Khon Kaen University in 2017.
