On February 25, 1951, the chapter was founded under the then Director of Bands Roy D. Metcalf with 17 Founding Brothers. The chapter was guided in its formation from the Alpha Delta chapter at Ohio University. The Alpha Gamma chapter of Tau Beta Sigma shares with us the founding date of February 25, 1951.

January 18th 2025: Beta Psi hosted a Spring Workshop for the brothers of NCD
April 2025: Beta Psi won the Outstanding Service Project Award at North Central District Convention hosted in Grand Rapids Michigan.
Jared Eichler from the Beta Psi chapter was on the North Central District Council and served as VPC!
Another brother from our chapter, Julia Fedor, performed in the National Intercollegiate Band at National Convention in 2025.
After all these years the Beta Psi chapter of Kappa Kappa Psi has had 729 Brothers and is currently on the Gamma Upsilon class!
