Our mission is to highlight a few of our fun happenings at our school each quarter. Whether you're a student, parent, teacher, or just a friend of Shapleigh School, this is the place to check out a few highlights.

Shapleigh students in grades 5, 6 and 7 participated in four weeks of WinterKids activities throughout January. Students engaged in several fun, collaborative events that got them moving outside during our coldest time of the year. Students used their bodies to create cool objects, participated in relay races, wrote haikus, and more. Students also received some cool swag - jump ropes, reusable utensils, bracelets, and flashlights! The students helped Shapleigh receive $500 to be used for future winter outdoor activities.

Community Groups at Shapleigh Middle School are a unique opportunity for students of all grade levels to come together and participate in activities that interest them. These groups are designed to foster a sense of community and build relationships among students from different grade levels, while also providing opportunities for growth and development outside of the classroom.
Whether it's through sports, music, arts, technology, or any other area of interest, Community Groups offer a fun and engaging way for students to explore their passions and develop new skills. With a variety of options to choose from, students can find a group that aligns with their interests and join with others who share their passions.
Through participating in Community Groups, students can form meaningful connections with different students and new adults, building a sense of belonging within the Shapleigh School community. They will have the chance to develop teamwork, leadership, communication skills and start making new friends while pursuing their interests and having fun!
