I want our classroom to be a place of learning and I strive to make sure all students in my classroom have that opportunity to learn. In order to create an environment in which students are learning it is important that our classroom management policies are in place and supported at home. Students that choose to follow the rules will be rewarded with class tickets to use in a prize box raffle.
In third grade we use a clip up chart. Daily, students start at 'Ready to Learn' and are given 3 chances before receiving an unacceptable behavior for poor choices. Students are also given the opportunity to clip up to receive a Super Student choice for their great behavior.
*Citations can be immediately given based on the severity of the unacceptable behavior.
