Chang is a rising junior at Cornell University studying statistics and information science. He wants to pursue the career path of data science. As a part of DIAL, Chang is looking forward to learning about using various tools for data analysis and visualization. He is excited to work with the cohort members and learn from their experiences and diverse perspectives. Outside of academics, Chang enjoys playing badminton and cooking.

Jorge is a rising sophomore at the University of Oklahoma studying Computer Science. As a part of DIAL, Jorge is looking most forward to interacting with experienced mentors and getting to know other members with different perspectives and backgrounds. They hope to expand their knowledge on data techniques that can benefit the underprivileged and local communities. Outside of academics, Jorge enjoys morning runs and spending time with family.

Outside of academics, he hangs out with family, plays volleyball, and enjoys the outdoors.

She is looking forward to participating in a collaborative learning process with other students and mentors while also learning about the value of incorporating a variety of viewpoints into data analysis. Mark is a freshman at USIU-Africa pursuing a bachelors in Data Science & Analytics. During his time in the DIAL program, he plans on centering his learning on the data tools and skills he can use to improve the info quality available to strengthen decision making globally with a focus on wildlife conservation & public policy formation. Mark also enjoys boxing & 3D CAD design and engineering through which he designs model planes and go-karts.

She has communications and social media experience, interning at various small companies. She has worked on case competitions through being a member of the American Marketing Association. She is currently working in a trade statistics company throughout the year expanding her knowledge on outreach and client relationships.
