DIRECTOR'S MESSAGE
Dear Parents and Guardians,
As we approach the end of another exciting year at KISU, I would like to reflect on some of the highlights from Term 1 and the incredible achievements that have made 2024 a hugely successful year for our school.
This term, our Outdoor Education programme provided memorable experiences for students across Primary and Secondary, with day trips for KS1 and EYFS and extended excursions for Secondary students. Themed weeks such as Digital Citizenship Week and Kindness, Anti-Bullying, and Health Week brought our community together around important values, fostering growth and awareness among students.
November also saw us take part in Movember, highlighting the importance of men's health. The AAR Insurance Mobile Health Clinic was a great success, with most of our male staff and a large number of parents undergoing a range of informative tests. It was a fantastic initiative to encourage awareness and proactive health management within our community.
Our sporting calendar has been nothing short of remarkable. From inter-house competitions to the numerous ISSAK tournaments where KISU teams excelled, we have celebrated countless victories and seen outstanding displays of sportsmanship. Congratulations to all our athletes and coaches for their dedication and hard work.
Looking ahead, I invite you to explore the Term 2 Calendar, which outlines another term packed with learning opportunities and events. There is also a bit more information about last Saturday's Christmas Fair. Look to the top menu.
As 2024 concludes, we step into 2025 with great optimism. With a focus on achieving international accreditation, aiming for continued sporting success, and creating world-class learning opportunities, we welcome all parents to join us on this journey of excellence.
We look forward to opening our doors to students at the usual time on Monday 6th January 2025.
Finally, I wish you all a safe and relaxing holiday. To those celebrating, Merry Christmas, and to everyone, a very Happy New Year!
Warm regards,
Lee Wilson
School Director
