On December 7th, KISU hosted its much-anticipated Christmas Fair, and what a magical day it was! With over 60 vendors offering a diverse array of products and goodies, the event brought together families and friends to celebrate the holiday season in style.
The festive atmosphere was enriched by the incredible performances from our talented students, who captivated the audience with their music and dance. The Kampala Fair Fashion Show, featuring some of our students, parents, and members of staff, was another highlight that added sparkle to the event.
Of course, the day wouldn't have been complete without a special visit from Santa Claus! The children eagerly awaited their turn to meet him, their faces lighting up as they collected gifts.
Beyond the main stage, the fair offered a wide range of activities for all ages. From bouncy castles and hoverboards to face painting, and gingerbread cookie decorating, there was no shortage of entertainment. Creative workshops like pottery-making and art classes allowed children to take home handmade memories.
The spirit of the season shone even brighter through the event’s charitable efforts. Thanks to entrance and raffle ticket sales, we raised an impressive 3 million UGX. These proceeds will benefit Mulago Hospital Children's Oncology Ward, USPCA, and Hope4Kantanga Kids Projects.
A big thank you to everyone who participated, volunteered, and contributed to making this event such a joyous celebration of community and generosity. Here’s to the holiday spirit and the wonderful memories we created together!
Happy Holidays from all of us at KISU!
