To edit a lesson, hover over the lesson on the Lumio Home Page, and click the "Edit" button.
You will then see this edit screen:
At the top of the edit page, there is a blue bar which allows you to rename your lesson, see its save status, and exit edit mode.
Below the blue bar, you will see all of the available editing tools.
Undo/Redo Buttons: Undo/redo previous action
Pointer: Allows you to click on visual elements to edit
Text: Allows you to create a new textbox on the slide
Shapes, Lines, Images, and Links: This multi-use button allows you to add various media types to your slide. You can choose from various shapes and various types of lines to add. You can also add an image from your computer or from the internet. There is also an option to add a link to your slide.
Convert Page to Activity: Allows you to convert your page to various interactive activities.
Instructional Audio: The audio feature will allow you to record audio for each individual page. You may use this for notes, instructions, or reading the text on the page.
With the convert page to activity button, you can convert a page to an individual handout, group workspace, or a whole-class whiteboard.
Individual Handout: Converting a page to an individual handout will allow each individual student to be able to edit their own version of a slide. The teacher may view each individual students progress by clicking on their name while presenting.
Group Workspace: Converting a page to a group space will allow each group to edit their own version of a slide. Before starting the activity, the teacher must put students into groups manually by dragging their names.
Whole-class Whiteboard: The whole-class whiteboard will allow the entire class to edit one version of the page.
When clicking on a visual element, such as text / images, a blue arrow will appear with a drop down menu. These options will edit properties for that specific visual element.
The lock feature will lock a specific element so it can not be edited or moved. To unlock an element, click on the lock button and select "Unlock".
The infinite cloner tool will allow an element to be infinitely cloned, so infinite instances of that object can be created.
