Directions to Connect to Clever

When students and teachers log in for the first time through Clever, they will be asked two questions:

1. Log in with an existing account

2. Register a new account

If a user is an existing user, they will log in using their existing username and password. For students, their usernames will ALWAYS be their teacher's username and their ExploreLearning password. If a teacher cannot locate a student's password, here are the instructions: https://explorelearning.my.site.com/help/s/article/Retrieving-Student-Usernames-and-Passwords-in-Reflex

Any new user will register a new account and follow the steps. Please keep in mind that this log in process is only required ONCE. After users have linked their accounts, they will never be asked to do so again. Moving forward, users will be automatically logged into their accounts.

Navigating STEELS Standards in Gizmos

Step 1

*From the teacher account dashboard, select Explore and choose Academic Standards.

Alternatively, the dashboard should have a direct link to your state standards similar to this (yours should say Pennsylvania)

You should see this screen and can access the STEELS relevant Gizmos by grade level:
