The Life Skills department at KHS is an individualized environment that is created to meet the learning needs of our students each year through specially designed instruction and sensory . Our students have the opportunity to engage in hands-on learning that is centered around their current needs and ability. We are excited to have your student in our classroom and we look forward to working with you to move them closer to their goals.
Classroom Policies/Procedures:
Respect others, be safe, be on time and be prepared.
Staff is available to care for your student 7:30 am- 3:30 pm. Staff is not available to recieve your student until 7:30.
Communicate allergies or dietary needs.
Medication will be given to the nurse and must be in the original bottle prescribed by the doctor or store container. A medical form must be completed with the nurse.
Please keep additional items at home, such as toys and items not needed for classroom use, unless discussed with teacher.
Cell phones/ tablets are not longer permitted to be visable on our campus. We will provide technology that is requred for assignments. If you have any questions, please reach out and we can go over our campus policy.
