KIS has taken an important step towards sustainable energy use through the installation of a rooftop solar photovoltaic (PV) system. The system, rated at 100.415 kWp, was installed in January 2024. This capacity has been carefully designed to meet the Self Consumption (SELCO) criteria, meaning the energy generated is used directly by the school, reducing reliance on the local grid and lowering the school’s overall carbon footprint.
