Tree-mendous!
Gotjawal Forest is a huge forest in Jeju Island, South Korea. It is separated into four sections. North, South, East, and West. It is a wonderful place where many organisms live and have a special ecosystem. To define Gotjawal forest, it is a forest on top of a rock. Jeju is an island formed by the volcano eruption. The volcano is called Halla mountain. Because the volcano eruption made a Jeju, The floor of Jeju is made by hardened magma which is called basalt. (Basalt is a rock with many wholes). As time goes on, the forest was formed on top of basalts.
