Miss Kirsty has been dancing for over 20 years and inspiring and teaching dancing for over 10 years. She began dancing in 2002 learning Ballet and Jazz. She then later began training in all genres of dance and by the age of 10, competing at state and National levels in dance. Throughout her many years of training she competed and performed in all genres including Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Hip Hop, Contemporary, Lyrical and Contemporary.
Kirsty began to teach and inspire students and share her love of dance in 2013. Later leading and running a group of students to perform on an overseas cruise ship, NRL half time shows and many more events.
Kirsty opened Kirsty's School of Dance in 2021. For the past 4 years Kirsty has been offering a supportive and fun environment for students of all ages to thrive. Kirsty specialises in teaching all genres of dance. Over the years Kirsty has performed at numerous shows, concerts, eistedfords, cruise and national competitions.
Kirsty beleives every child is unique and capable of anything if they put their minds to it. With our encouraging, inclusive, positive, fun, safe and family orientated studio they can reach their full potential.

Ryan began Kirsty's School of Dance with Kirsty in 2021, and became the managing director and administration officer.
Ryan is a the welcoming face you will see at reception, and can answer any of your enquiries. He manages accounts and will always love to have a chat.
Laycie began dancing at the age of 7, and has been performing and learning with Kirsty from 2020. She is our newest member to the teacher family. She will be a student teacher alongside Miss Kirsty. Laycie has fallen in love with dancing and wishes to persure teaching. She provides a nourishing and caring learning environment and enjoys working alongside the children to help them reach their full potential.
Throughout her dancing career Laycie has perfomed for DJ Jazzy as a day dreamer, NRL half-time shows, cruise ships, eisteddfods, and local fates and schools. Laycie is currently studying dance at school and is coming first in her course. Laycie will continue to persue her dancing career and complete her HSC for dance. She also has a former background as a gymnast. Competing from the age of 4.

Jean began dancing at a young age, learning all genres including Tap, Ballet, Jazz, Hip Hop and Acrobatics. Jean instantly had a niche for moving along to the music and has never stopped. Throughout her years of dancing Jean performed in eistedfods, state and national competitions, cruise ships and at yearly concerts.
In 2025 Jean began to pursue her love of dancing and became a teacher at Kirsty's School of Dance. She enjoys teaching all genres and will be a casual teacher at KSD in 2026.
Jemma has performed at many events including, Sydney Royal Easter Show main parade performer, weddings, cruise ships, NRL half-time shows, Sydney Swifts, music videos, advertisments, and many industry workshops.
Jemma has extensive knowledge of dance and has competed at a National level, placing 1st at Nationals in Hip Hop. She has completed her HSC for dance with flying colours in 2023.
Jemma joined the Kirsty's School of Dance team in 2023 and has been a value member to the team. She can not wait to share her knowledge with you all.
Jessica began dancing when she was three years old. She has trained in all genres including tap, jazz, hip hop, ballet, contemporary, lyrical, musical theatre, jazz funk and hip hop.
During this time she has been a member of both troupe and competition teams from a young age. Jess studied dance at school from years 9-12, where she placed first in the subject from 9-12 alongside being a member of the dance teams performing at school fates and performances. Jess has completed exams under the ATOD syllabus for ballet, jazz, hip hop and tap. Jess is now currently completing exams under the Glenwood tap syllabus.
Some of Jess’s dance achievements include; dancing in the USA twice, performing Disneyland and Disney world, Universal Studios. Performing on Cruise Ships, competing at Nationals for the ATOD scholarships for hip hop as well as competing in the state scholarships for tap and hip hop. In highschool Jess received a callback nomination for her dance HSC including her core performance and core composition. Performed at the NRL Grand Final, the Giants Netball home games, performing for NRL and AFL half time shows, and performing at the Easter Show every year and performing in the Sydney Royal Easter Show Main Parade since 2024.
Jess began teaching at KSD in 2025 and brings a wealth of knowledge and a love for teaching children. We can't wait to have her teaching again in 2026!
Miss Emma is a very talented and experienced dancer, who has performed at many events including the Sydney Royal Easter Show, state and national competitions, cruise ships, NRL half-time entertainment, Musicals and many industry workshops.
Miss Emma joined the Kirsty's School of Dance team in 2025 and has been a value member to the team. She will expand her teaching in 2026 and support our 5-8 years dancers and soloists. She can't wait to dance with you!
Abbey began dancing at a young age, learning all genres including Tap, Ballet, Jazz, Hip Hop, Acrobatics and Lyrical. Abbey instantly fell in love with Tap and its shows within her dancing and teaching, and she continued dancing for many years. As she grew older Abbey found passion in teaching others Tap and still dancers herself to keep her knowldge and foundations strong. Throughout her years of dancing Abbey performed in eisteddfods, competitions, local fairs, performances and yearly concerts.
In 2026 Miss Abbey began to pursue her love of dancing and became a junior teacher at Kirsty's School of Dance. She will join us teaching Jazz and Tap classes.
Miss Keira began dancing at Kirsty's School of Dance in 2022, expanding her knowledge in Classical Ballet. Shortly after starting dance she loved the KSD environment, encouraging teachers and instantly felt supported in her dance journey. She began taking more classes and enjoyed Jazz and Acrobatics.
Miss Keira had an instant connection with the younger students in our studio and in 2025 Keira started our 2 year student teacher program. She will continue this journey with us in 2026.
Keira is a valued member to the Kirsty's School of Dance team. She can't wait to continue to help your little one shine.
