KSFA & After Hours Logistics

Any late pickup scholars will report to the designated class on the 8th grade hall under staff supervision until their ride arrives.  

1. Late pick-up time begins at 4:15pm Monday-Thursday, and 2:15pm on Fridays. At that time, all Boys & Girls Club scholars, and late pick-up scholars (referring to all unsupervised scholars remaining on campus) will go immediately to the designated late pick-up classroom on the 8th grade hall near the main office. Scholars will sign-in and remain under staff supervision until their bus or their parent arrives.

2. To pick-up scholars after hours: When parents arrive, they will text their scholar's name to the supervising staff member. The phone number will be posted on the window of the main entrance near the call box. Then staff will notify the parent of their associated late-pickup fee and provide the online payment link if needed.

3.  Parents will pay the late pick-up fees online and text the payment receipt to the staff for verification. Staff will notify the scholar to leave from the classroom and meet the parent at the front entrance. Parents who cannot pay at the time of the late pick-up may make a payment arrangement.

If parents arrive after school and ask another staff member to get their child from late pick-up, staff will direct the parent to the  phone numbers posted on the front entrance windows by the call box. 

*Parents are expected to pick-up scholars at the regular dismissal time. Scholars are not permitted to wait on campus for their siblings to finish with after school activities. Late pick-up fees of $1/minute/scholar apply, and payment is due at time of pickup.  Student balances must be cleared before report cards and student records are released. Excessive cases will be referred to the school social worker. 

Excessive cases may include but are not limited to:

-3+ late pick-ups in a rolling 30 day period, or 5+ late pick-ups in a semester

-A single instance of a late pick-up that is 30 minutes or longer

-A repeat late pick-up for a scholar with unpaid late pick-up fees/unpaid payment arrangements on file.
