- Go to Calendar and create an event.
- On the Conferencing option, choose Add Conferencing
- Choose Hangouts Meet
- On the Guests tab, click Add guests and enter the name or email addresses
- Click Save
- Click Send to send the invites

From your laptop:
- In Calendar, click the event you want to join.
- Click Join Hangouts Meet
- In the window that opens, click Join Now
From your mobile device:
- Follow the same above instructions as the laptop
OR
- Follow the same above instructions as the laptop
- Join from the Google Meet app installed on your phone
- Open the Hangouts Meet app
- Swipe up from the bottom to view your scheduled meetings
- Select a meeting from the list and tap Join.

- If you have not done so yet, install the Google Hangouts extension for Chrome
- Click on the Hangouts button in your toolbar
- If the person is not in your list, choose New Conversation
- Select the person you want to do a video call with
- Hit the camera icon

- Go to the Hangouts Meet link
- In the bottom-right corner, select Present now
- Select Your entire screen or A window.
- Select Share
- If your camera is turned on, participants continue to see your video while you're presenting.

- All participants should join the video meeting a few minutes prior to test out the technology
- All participants should stay muted unless one is speaking
- When possible, use a headphone with a microphone when possible
- When possible, all participants should be in a quiet area free from unnecessary distractions
- When in doubt, just practice common courtesy. People want to be heard, seen, and respected during a video meeting - just like they do everywhere else.
