It is always good to prepare a few hours before a scheduled video conference.
Neither the Poly X50 nor the Poly X30 videoconference units have an on/off button. You simply just plug the Poly X50 or Poly X30 into a wall plug to turn it on. Unplug it from the wall to turn it off.
Both the Poly X50 and Poly X30 videoconference units and the TC 8 controller need to be plugged into the internet.
Make sure the TV is on and the AFNTS Zoom screen is displayed. If you do not see the home screen, check the TV input. The HDMI cord may be unplugged or plugged into the wrong HDMI port.
If you don't see the home screen and need assistance preparing before a scheduled videoconference. Please reach out to Sarah Doucette, AFNTS 902 567-0842 Ext 5504/ 902 565 3896/ sdoucette@afnts.ca
