Meet the Team

Jane has worked in diagnostics for the last 30 years, at the NHS, Zeneca Diagnostics, Astrazeneca, Qiagen and as VP of R&D for the Laboratory of the Government Chemist (LGC). She has extensive R&D experience underpinned by solid design control expertise gained through the delivery of multiple FDA-approved diagnostic kits. Her passion is bringing new diagnostic technologies from invention to bedside.

David has held academic positions in the field of oncology at Cardiff University, The Buck Institute (CA, USA) and Barts Cancer Institute, as well as industrial experience having worked at Thermo Scientific and Proteome Sciences where he specialised in mass spectrometry and proteomics technologies.

Pedro is Principal Investigator, Reader at Barts Cancer Institute (QMUL) and Fellow of the Turing Institute, has worked in the field of LC-MS/MS Proteomics for over 15 years. During that time, he has invented many laboratory methods and data analysis tools, resulting in >50 publications and 8 patent filings and granted patents. Kinomica has adopted the proprietary platform technology that has been tested and verified in the Cutillas laboratory named KinoScan™.

Professor Gribben is a co-Founder providing clinical expertise to Kinomica. Prof Gribben is a world leader in the treatment and research of leukaemia and lymphoma having worked as a clinician and scientist in the field for more than 20 years, both in the USA (Harvard Medical School) and the UK (Glasgow, University of London & Barts). Professor Gribben is President of the European Haematology Association (EHA) and Centre Lead for the Haemato-Oncology Department, Barts Cancer Insitute, QMUL.

Andy is a biotech and strategy consultant specialising in translation of scientific advancements into economic and commercial impacts. He's built winning proposals worth £10M to date and has expertise in mass spectrometry and proteomics.
