With great pleasure, we extend a special invitation to the vibrant film community in Clermont-Ferrand to submit your exceptional works for consideration at the 36th São Paulo International Short Film Festival, known as  Kinoforum. Organized by Associação Cultural Kinoforum, under the leadership of Zita Carvalhosa, the festival is a celebration of cinema in the big screen.

Objectives and Vision 

The São Paulo International Short Film Festival strives to create an enriching exchange between Latin American and international film productions. Rooted in cultural diversity, the festival aims to showcase films that contribute significantly to the evolution of short films in terms of aesthetics, format, and production methods.

Program Categories:

Whether your film belongs to Brazilian Programs, International and Latin American Programs, or falls within the realm of Immersive Films, the São Paulo International Short Film Festival provides a platform for every narrative. 

🎞 Submission Guidelines and Deadlines 

Films of all genres completed after January 1st, 2024, are eligible.

A triple deadline approach: 

March 31st, 2025, for all films completed in 2024; 

April 15th, 2024, for INTERNATIONAL films completed in 2025;

April 30rd, 2024, for LATIN AMERICAN and BRAZILIAN films completed in 2025;
