Kinnelon High School - Dual Enrollment

We have partnered with William Paterson University to give Kinnelon High School students the opportunity to take college-level courses on-site at Kinnelon High School.  The following courses from the KHS Program of Studies are part of our dual enrollment partnership for the 23-24 school year: 




These courses will continue to be offered during the regular school day, and are taught by Kinnelon High School teachers who have been approved as meeting the standards of an adjunct faculty member by the William Paterson faculty in the math department. Precalculus Honors aligns with MATH 1160 (Precalculus) for a total of three (3) college credits and Intro. to Calculus BC Honors/ Calculus Honors align with MATH 1600 (Calculus I) for a total of four (4) college credits.

All high school students taking courses for college credit must be able to demonstrate their ability to manage college-level coursework and meet the academic criteria; A GPA of 3.0 for high school seniors and a GPA of 3.25 for high school juniors and sophomores. A grade point average of a C must be maintained in each course. Families will be required to submit payment at the start of each course at a cost of $100 per credit.


Students must apply by September 29th and register (including parental consent forms and payment) by October 13th.  Please contact your guidance counselor for more information.
