Tickets
Xavier University requires every spectator to have a ticket in order to attend the Commencement Ceremony. Graduation tickets are no cost. Each student will receive 14 tickets at cap & gown pickup on April 11. If a student needs more than 14 tickets, please fill out this Extra Ticket Request Form requesting more tickets.
Cintas Center Flower & Bear Pre-Order
Flowers and Graduation Bears available for pre-order through the Commencement Group. All online orders will be available for pickup on site the day of the graduation. To retrieve your order, please stop by the booth located conveniently at the entrance to the graduation before the ceremony begins. To shop please click on this link.

Bring cap & gown
During the commencement ceremony students are only permitted to wear the cords and the Latin award medals that the school provides.
Men
Most guys wear collared shirts with dress pants or slacks. No shorts.
Ties are optional
Shoes for men should be closed-toed
Blazers or suit jackets can get very warm under a graduation gown. If you would like to wear a blazer for photos, consider asking someone to hold it for you while you’re wearing your gown.
Women
There are many options for what to wear under a graduation gown for women including but not limited to; skirts, dresses, pantsuits, jumpsuits, etc.
Shoes could be flats, pumps, wedges, block heels or formal sandals. You may want to avoid tall, narrow heels - there will be a lot of walking and stairs!

Do Not iron these gowns. They will melt with a hot iron.
Caps may not be decorated. Any decoration on caps will be removed.
Please hang them on a hanger!
