Course: Publisher's Club Y3-Y6 KS2

Course Description: Publisher's club provides children in Years 3, 4, 5, 6 to explore their interests and creativity. They will have the chance to make books on any topic they choose, and then have these books displayed in the school library for their peers to enjoy. In previous years we have had children create books on chess, football, ice-cream varieties, minecraft, anime, dogs and all sorts of other topics.
Course: Primary Percussion Ensemble Y3-Y6 (Invite Only) KS2

Course Description: The Primary Percussion Ensemble introduces our youngest musicians to the joy of playing together in a group. Using classroom percussion, hand drums, and other accessible instruments, students learn how to keep a steady beat, explore different rhythms, and make music as a team. This ECA focuses on building confidence, listening skills, and coordination through fun, interactive activities. Students will also develop an early sense of ensemble playing understanding how their part fits into the bigger sound. By joining the Primary Percussion Ensemble, children not only discover the excitement of percussion but also experience the teamwork, focus, and creativity that come from making music together.

Course Description: The Senior Percussion Ensemble is a high-level group for dedicated students who want to challenge themselves and perform at a competitive standard. This ECA develops advanced rhythmic skills, ensemble precision, and stage presence, with a focus on preparing for school performances, festivals, and external competitions. Students will rehearse demanding repertoire across a wide range of percussion instruments mallets, drums, and auxiliary percussion while strengthening their musicianship, leadership, and teamwork. Emphasis is placed on discipline, commitment, and performance excellence, giving students the experience of working in a professional-style ensemble. By joining the Senior Percussion Ensemble, students will not only deepen their skills as percussionists but also represent the school proudly at events and competitions, showcasing the power and excitement of ensemble percussion.
Course: Physics Extend Y12-Y13 - Lunchtime SS

Course Description: Part of the school's extended programme. Students will have the opportunity to look beyond the confines of the syllabus in both practical and theoretical parts of the course. They will also use some of their time to prepare for the Olympiad competition, where they will compete against the best young scientists from all across the world.
