Course: Magic KS2, SS
Price: 800 THB./Session

Course Description: In Magic, we work on building confidence and showmanship through learning magic tricks. Our apprentices develop motor skills and explore drama & performance by learning trick mechanics, fostering socio-emotional skills and sparking imagination. Each session, the little magicians will learn a new trick, which they get to take home. Both KS1 and KS2 courses culminate in a Magic Show for students' families who are invited to watch and be amazed!
Course: Marine Biology SS
Price: 450 THB./Session
Staff: Thai Ocean (External Provider)
Course Description: Each lesson focuses on a unique group of marine organisms, covering topics such as evolution, taxonomy, trophic behavior, reef ecology, human impacts, and conservation around that organism. The lessons are divided into two parts: A lecture that teaches you a lot about a group of marine organisms(30-40 minutes). An activity to reinforce material (e.g., Shark Quiz, Turtle Bingo, Coral Jeopardy, or crafting sea slugs out of clay) (20 min). This program emphasizes marine science and conservation in the classroom while encouraging (but not requiring) students to pursue diving certifications.
Lessons delve deeper into advanced marine science topics, such as weathering and erosion, extinction events, coral spawning, and invasive species. Many students are already certified divers, and we encourage them to participate in research projects. This year, for example, we’re installing mooring lines around the archipelago of Koh Larn.
Additional Experiences: For each 6-8 week block, we aim to include at least one dive trip for students to see first hand what we are learning in the classroom. Students also have the option to sign up for the Ecological Monitoring Protocol (EMP) to learn how to survey the reef to assess its health.

Course: Modern and Contemporary Dance KS2
