Here are some helpful answers to some questions you might need to know more about:

1. If I purchase a ticket but can no longer attend, can I cancel? What is the refund policy?

Cancellations made before a specified deadline will receive a full refund minus any administrative fees. We will release the dates of when this will be once the tickets are live. Cancellations made after this date may not be eligible for a refund.

2. Who do I contact if I have a question about ARWAE or the schedule?

We aim to respond within 2–3 working days.

3. How can I become a presenter? What do I need to apply?

When registering, you will be asked whether you are interested in presenting.  At that stage, simply indicate your interest, no formal proposal is required yet. A formal Call for Presenters will be shared later, where you will be invited to submit:

• A session title

• A short description of your workshop or talk

• A brief professional bio

• Any technical or space requirements

We welcome a wide range of session formats including workshops, discussion groups, studio-based sessions, and research-informed presentations.

4. Can more than one person attend from my school?

Yes, however spaces are limited and we want to take into consideration that this is a learning opportunity, having a range of teachers from different schools broadens our learning. Some schools find it valuable to have multiple colleagues attend so they can share ideas, divide workshop choices, and continue professional dialogue back at school, but we ask that you are mindful about how many. Each participant must register individually.

5. Can I attend if I am not an art teacher?

Sadly not! As there are very few Art CPD opportunities in Asia, this conference is specific to Art educators only, Primary, Middle and Senior positions are welcomed. If you are unsure about whether this conference is right for you, feel free to get in touch.
