We have started a new topic in science this term: Earth and Space. In this week's lesson we thought about all the questions we have about space. Here a just a few....can you answer any of them?!

During PSHE this week, we have looked at teamwork. We worked in groups to try to build the tallest structure we could with just 6 sheets of paper and sellotape in 5 minutes.
Our first attempts were not very successful!
However, when people had defined roles and we worked together, we built much taller, more robust towers with the same equipment.
We learnt that communication, respect, active listening, defined roles and positivity were all important skills in teamwork.

In PE this week, we have worked on our fitness. We've been developing our stamina and strength.
Design Technology
Design Technology
We have been looking at structures in DT and had a go at building 2D and 3D structures of our own. We learnt to use triangles to strengthen our joins.
Writing
Writing
We have started off our term with some excellent writing work inspired by Kensuke's Kingdom. This week, we have collaborated to build word banks of amazing vocabulary to describe our tropical islands.
